Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake Campaign

Over 1200 people in Greater Halifax traded in their sneakers, pumps, flip flops and cowboy boots for bowling shoes between March 27th and 29th in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake. The campaign raised over $233,000 to help the agency deliver it's mentoring programs to children throughout the community.

Bowl for Kids Sake is the largest, annual fund-raising campaign for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax. All of the money raised assists the agency in creating and supporting meaningful friendships for children with caring, adult mentors. Right now, there are over 150 boys and girls in Greater Halifax waiting to experience a fulfilling friendship with a Big Brother or Big Sister. This is why the success of the Bowl for Kids Sake campaign is so vital. Donations may still be made to the campaign by visiting www.bowlforkids.ca.
