E2C - Eco Endurance Challenge

Halifax Regional Search & Rescue team hosted their 9th annual fundraiser 'E2C'Âť, on April 25 & 26th. This event started as a team training exercise and has since grown to large scale event for everyone to enjoy. Over 330 participants took to the woods in teams of 2 - 5ea. On a large hiking, trekking & running scavenger hunt over a period of 8 & 24hrs. Teams entered in different categories: Competitive, Recreational, SAR & Armed Forces.
Prizes presentations & T shirts were handed out during 2 banquets held after each race.
E2C is HRSAR’s largest fundraiser and all funds raised go the life saving exercises, First Aid equipment & training of over 160 volunteers.
