IWK Change Bandits
C100 and Scotiabank were the major sponsors of the IWK Change Bandit program, which collects loose change from people to help raise funds for the IWK. The Scotiabank branch in Scotia Square Mall along with the Atlantic Contact Centre held a fundraising event which featured live music and a bake sale to promote awareness and raise funds for the cause. Together the groups raised $8214.17. Scotiabank presented their funds to the IWK and went on air with C100 as part of the Change Bandits Radiothon. They presented an overall cheque on behalf of all of the 36 Scotiabank branches and support departments whose combined efforts raised $36,200 for the IWK!
