Honoring our Lifeblood
The Canadian Blood Services hosted its first annual celebration of its community and business partners in the Halifax Region with its "Partners For Life Recognition Night - Honouring our Lifeblood." Over 80 community partners in both the local business and public sectors were honored for their commitment to giving the life-saving gift of blood. Through their support of mobile clinics, life buses and others programs, as well as striving to meet annual targets, the Partners have helped to donate blood that touched over 12,000 lives in Nova Scotia this last year.
