Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes

The TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes took place on Sunday, June 14th at DeWolfe Park in Bedford. The annual event, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) biggest fundraiser, raises both awareness of the disease and funds to continue research momentum for a cure. Families, friends and co-workers came out sporting colorful team t-shirts to show their spirit and passion for JDRF’s pursuit of a cure for type 1 diabetes. Because of the tremendous support of approximately 700 participants, over 91,000 was raised for research. JDRF would like to thank all the participants, volunteers, and sponsors for making this a successful day!
