Barb Stegemann Book Signing
The 7 Virtues of a Philosopher Queen was launched on International Women's Day one year ago. Author and Chronicle Herald Columnist, Barb Stegemann has been on a non-stop motivational tour ever since selling 3,000 copies throughout Nova Scotia, Canada and the USA and is now going into the second edition. On a clear mission to empower people to reconnect with their voting power and buying power to narrow the gap between rich and poor, Barb is clearly speaking to what every day people want - leadership, courage and joy. She goes only where she is asked to speak and to date that's close to 100 talks.
She believes everyone deserves to connect with the stoic wisdom that has taken leaders, cities and countries to success even in the face of strife, war and challenging times. Barb's background is in economic development and since returning home to Nova Scotia just two years ago has received the Women of Excellence Award from the Progress Club and the Courage to Give Back Award from Family SOS.
Barb has raised thousands of dollars for charities in Nova Scotia through book sales and launched the Philosopher Queen scholarship at the University of King's College for a woman from humble roots in rural NS who wishes to study philosophy.
